Job summary

Community Housing Network in Troy, MI is seeking a full-time Housing Resources Coordinator. You will implement diversion grants to reduce homelessness and support clients with housing navigation, assisting them to avoid shelter entry or rapidly exit to stable housing.

The role requires 40 hours per week, 8:30 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with a focus on client-centered, trauma-informed care and collaboration with CoCs and community partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in housing services, case management, or homelessness prevention.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office, Outlook, and Internet.
• Experience using HMIS for data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diversion screenings and intakes to assess housing options and prevent shelter entry.
• Provide strengths-based case management following Housing First models.
• Assist with housing search, unit identification, viewings, and applications.
• Maintain relationships with landlords and property managers to expand opportunities.
• Administer flexible financial assistance for housing stability.
• Document activities accurately in HMIS and required databases.
• Travel within the community as needed for participant support.
