Job summary

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland is seeking a Home Visitor for the Help Me Grow program serving Wayne & Ashland Counties. You will support pregnant mothers, caregivers and children (0-5) by promoting healthy development and positive caregiver-child interactions.

This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role offers a hybrid schedule based on client needs and coordination with the supervisor. A valid driver's license and a HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2 years related professional experience.
• Must be certified as Home Visitor by DCY within 1 month from date of hire.
• Must have valid Ohio driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Complete required Home Visitor credential certificate training.
• Build relationships with families to assess strengths and needs; connect to resources.
• Participate in recruitment outreach and engagement events.
• Accurately document services in state-wide database including billing.
• Attend professional development trainings and meetings.
