Achievement Centers for Children in Ohio seeks a Help Me Grow Specialist – Home Visitor to support expectant parents and families with children from birth to age three, delivering home visiting services, developmental guidance, parenting education, and connections to community resources. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with two evenings per week.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of coursework in a related field preferred.
• Experience with children birth to age three and families preferred.
• Knowledge of community resources and family support services preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated cultural competency and ability to work with diverse families.

Responsibilities

• Develop supportive, family-centered relationships with pregnant women and families of children from birth to age three
• Conduct assessments, screenings, and intake activities
• Provide parenting education, developmental guidance, advocacy, and referrals to community resources
• Partner with families to identify goals and develop individualized plans to support child and family success
• Promote positive parent-child interactions and healthy child development
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with community partners to coordinate services
