Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction estimating or related role.
• Experience with concrete, earthwork, and related structures.
• Proficient in project bidding, value engineering, blueprint reading, cost analysis and budgeting.
• Knowledge of dirt estimating and abutment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for heavy civil construction projects (concrete, flatwork, structures, earthwork).
• Participate in project bidding to secure competitive, accurate bids.
• Apply value engineering to balance cost, quality, and timeline.
• Analyze blueprints, specs, and docs to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Conduct budgeting and cost analysis to manage project profitability.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and team members to ensure project success.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
