Job summary

Ascendco Health is seeking an Associate Implementation Engineer to bridge technical support, software implementation, engineering, and education for healthcare environments. You will partner with Support to resolve Tier 2 issues, work with Software Engineering to build platform expertise, and assist expansion implementations with client IT teams.

As your expertise grows, you’ll own more implementation work, including configuration, deployment, networking, printers, and infrastructure

• Strong communication and ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated problem-solving with investigation, next steps, and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Support to investigate Tier 2 and complex technical requests.
• Troubleshoot platform issues by understanding component interactions and using tools.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering to deepen platform expertise and resolve issues.
• Communicate findings, steps, dependencies, and risks to stakeholders.
• Identify recurring problems and improve configuration, tooling, and processes.
• Create troubleshooting guides and technical documentation for clients and teams.
• Support expansion implementations and coordinate IT workstreams.
• Guide client IT through infrastructure, networking, security, deployment, and configuration requirements.
• Configure and support the Ascendco platform as clients expand usage.
• Shadow senior engineers and grow toward independent ownership of technical work.
• Participate in QA and testing for new functionality.
• Play role in feedback loop to evolve platform with client input.
• Travel ~25% to client facilities for go-lives and onsite needs.
