Job summary

Children’s Hospital Association in Lenexa, KS, is seeking a Health Data Analyst to serve as a domain expert in clinical coding and data standards. You will support CHA analytics with accurate, standardized data across coding systems and regulatory updates.

The role emphasizes data quality, governance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve charge mappings and data submissions from member hospitals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, HIM, or related field.
• 5+ years in healthcare with coding and data quality experience.
• RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CHDA, CDIP, CCDS or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS coding systems.
• Support development and maintenance of CHA’s charge code systems (CTC).
• Review and map hospital charges to CTC codes for accuracy.
• Apply OMOP CDM, SNOMED, and other data standards to CHA analytics.
