Job summary

Hybrid role based in Birmingham, AL, with possible travel to Atlanta, GA. Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in GRC or related fields are typical; certification progress is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Five or more years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance concepts and tools.
• Progress toward professional GRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own execution and day-to-day management of the assigned GRC program area.
• Lead and coordinate Analyst-level team members where applicable.
• Coordinate audits, assessments, or reviews; oversee evidence collection and remediation tracking.
• Monitor control or program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as primary contact and escalation path for the domain across IT, business stakeholders, and Legal or external parties.
• Own reporting on performance and posture to the Director of GRC.
• Maintain awareness of regulations, frameworks, and industry trends.
