Job summary

The Skoll Foundation in Washington, DC is seeking a Grants Manager to oversee the full grant lifecycle, ensure compliance with IRS and foundation policies, and manage grant data across programs in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates have five years in nonprofit philanthropy, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and Salesforce experience. The role requires on-site work three days a week in Washington, DC with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of professional experience in nonprofit or philanthropy.
• Familiarity with exempt-organization rules (expenditure responsibility, equivalency determinations, OFAC/sanctions screening) a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce or other grants management systems and staff training.

Responsibilities

• Support the full grant lifecycle from pipeline to reporting.
• Coordinate grant payments and amendments.
• Ensure IRS and foundation requirements are met for all grants.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for leadership.
