Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related discipline is required.
• Progressive experience in research administration or a hospital/academic setting is required.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Experience with budgeting, cost transfers and effort certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with NIH/other sponsor processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-award grants/contracts activities for the Division of Nephrology and KRI.
• Oversee budget reconciliation, expenditure review, and cost transfers for complex sponsored projects.
• Provide guidance on regulatory, fiscal, and compliance requirements to faculty and staff.
• Mentor and supervise the grants and fiscal staff to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with division leadership and sponsor offices to streamline processes.
