Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least three years in research administration or related finance field.
• Experience managing grants, contracts, or subawards with attention to compliance.
• Ability to develop budgets and interpret sponsor policies.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Award: prepare and submit grant proposals; build budgets and subawards; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Post-Award: manage funded projects, monitor spend, ensure invoicing and reporting accuracy.
• Sponsor/Internal Reporting: generate monthly and quarterly spend analyses and progress reports.
• Administrative: review procedures, allocate effort, and ensure policy alignment; support PIs and staff.
• Collaboration: liaison with UW offices, sponsor agencies, and domestic and international partners.
