Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years relevant experience OR Master's degree.
• Professional experience involving the execution of detailed and time-sensitive procedures requiring independent judgment and a high degree of accuracy.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills as evidenced by application materials.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience investigating, interpreting and communicating guidelines, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently to organize and track tasks/projects and to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating and communicating with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, or levels of authority.
• Experience using databases or other electronic systems for tracking and managing information (e.g., accounts, data, forms).

Responsibilities

• Manages or coordinates administrative aspects of the graduate program and graduate data (student enrollment, grades, degree progression; forms for petitions, milestones, enrollment, exams, graduation).
• Coordinates graduate program events (prospective visits, orientation, awards ceremonies).
• Manages admission process administration including materials, reports, decisions, and funding letters.
• Supports development and oversees implementation of communications related to recruitment and outreach.
• Manages administrative aspects of student employment (GA/RA) including tracking assignments and funding, evaluations, hiring forms.
• Coordinates exams and graduation processes (schedules, submissions, defenses, graduation docs).
• Provides data for program reviews, assessments, grants, awards; maintains handbook and department pages.
• Provides training and guidance on University systems related to graduate education.
