You will drive degree progress, retention efforts, and program operations with high autonomy, acting as a student advocate and coordinating with faculty, DGS, and staff.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data reporting for NASPAA/PAB, and onboarding. Hybrid work is available, with on-campus and remote days as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience advising and supporting graduate students in policy or planning programs.
• Ability to interpret complex policies and manage degree audits with empathy.
• Proven collaboration across faculty, staff, and administration.
• Strong technical skills with student databases and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead student advising for MPP and MURP cohorts and plan degree progress.
• Conduct bi-annual audits to identify at-risk students and design retention plans.
• Guide students through policies, GPAs, and administrative holds.
• Coordinate onboarding, sessions, and cohort community activities.
• Manage accreditation data and collaborate on program documentation.
• Maintain student records using PeopleSoft, APLUS, and GPAS.
