is seeking a Government Account Representative (GAR) to penetrate assigned accounts and grow revenue across local government, higher education, and federal customers. The role involves field work scenarios, cross-team collaboration, and building a territory plan to drive profitable growth. You will report to the District Sales Manager, Gov't, and operate in a hybrid work environment with travel to customer sites in the region.

Qualifikationen

• Sales, customer service, relationship building experience.
• Ability to be in the field with customers on the Naval Base Bangor five days a week and have occasional overnights.
• A valid driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Maintain an understanding of government contracts.
• Determine and prepare the Grainger Value Proposition for each account and review how Grainger can add value and help with each account's purchasing needs.
• Create a territory plan that optimizes call routes, maximizes time in the field, and meets shared performance targets.
• Maintain account and customer contact and record follow up details in Grainger's CRM (Salesforce).
• Grow sales with each account using multiple communication channels to maximize revenue.
