Job summary

Grainger, a leading broad line distributor, is seeking a Government Account Representative (GAR) to drive profitable revenue growth across assigned local government, higher education, primary education or federal accounts in the Phoenix area. You will partner with sales and service teams and report to the District Sales Manager, Gov't.

Qualifications

• Sales, customer service, and relationship-building experience required.
• Ability to be in the field with customers five days a week in Phoenix.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of government contracts.
• Prepare Grainger value proposition for each account.
• Create a territory plan optimizing call routes and field time.
• Maintain account and customer contact in Grainger's CRM (Salesforce).
• Grow sales with each account using multiple channels to maximize revenue.
