Job summary

Antora Energy, Inc. is seeking a Project Development Manager to coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, business development, and finance for international energy storage projects.

The role combines strategy, permitting, and contract execution to advance deals from ideation to final investment decision (FID). Strongly preferred hybrid work from San Jose, CA HQ, with options for Madrid, Sydney, or remote in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years project management experience in large renewable energy projects.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to advance deals to final investment decision and contract execution.
• Experience mitigating deal/project risks via escalation and de-risking workstreams.
• Track record of building trusted relationships with project stakeholders, community leaders, and decision makers.
• Excellent project management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Self-motivated with initiative and creative problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project timeline, milestones and accountability alignment within Antora’s commercial teams to accelerate deals to the final investment decision (FID).
• Build and maintain commercial contract and commercial risk tracking tools to maintain deal team alignment, prioritization and visibility for key stakeholders and leaders.
• Bridge technical, language, cultural, and time zone challenges for multi-faceted teams working on opposite sides of the world.
• Escalate deal risks to appropriate leaders and stakeholders and manage the workstreams required to mitigate these risks.
• Partner with Antora’s legal and business development teams to de-risk land control for projects by executing lease, easement and title agreements.
• Represent Antora to local community leaders and authorities to obtain the required permits to advance our thermal energy storage projects.
