Job summary

Antora Energy, Inc. is seeking an Senior Business Development Analyst - International in San Jose, CA. The role supports senior team members in identifying opportunities, building financial models, onboarding customers, and driving early project development for high-value decarbonization projects.

Projects are large-scale and international, often >$100M, requiring cross-functional collaboration with engineering, finance, and legal teams. Spanish language skills and CRM experience are valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years analytics or related experience in renewable energy, project finance, industrial or energy sectors.
• Experience running energy project finance models from energy bill level data inputs.
• Wizardry in modeling, market research, ppt and data analysis.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience with proposal development.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
• Comfort using and building at least entry-level AI-based productivity tools

• Conduct financial modeling and screening of potential projects to assess feasibility and profitability, including structuring project economics from energy bills and costs.
• Assist with onboarding industrial customers and managing early-stage project development activities to ensure successful project initiation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, project finance, and legal teams to gather insights and resources for project outcomes.
• Develop, format, and refine proposals and presentations to communicate project value propositions to customers and stakeholders.
• Support the creation and refinement of Business Development processes and systems to scale the team’s productivity.

Position Summary

The Senior Business Development Analyst - International is an integral member of Antora’s international development team, providing essential support to senior team members focused on originating high-quality industrial decarbonization projects. These are large scale, often >$100M industrial energy projects requiring close technical and economic team collaboration across a broad internal and external team. This role involves identifying market opportunities, supporting customer onboarding and early project development, building and running financial models for projects and markets, and developing project proposals and investment committee presentations. Projects are mostly international, with initial focus in Spain and Australia, but may include projects in other countries including the US. The Analyst will also contribute to developing and streamlining processes and systems that enhance the development team’s efficiency and effectiveness, including AI-based tools.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support senior business development team members in identifying and assessing new market opportunities and project leads in targeted industrial sectors.
• Conduct financial modeling and screening of potential projects to assess feasibility and profitability, including being able to structure project economics from energy bills, weigh the impacts of utility rate or capital costs changes, etc.
• Assist with onboarding industrial customers and managing early-stage project development activities to ensure successful project initiation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, project finance, and legal teams to gather insights and resources that drive successful project outcomes.
• Develop, format, and refine proposals and presentations to communicate project value propositions to customers and stakeholders.
• Support the creation and refinement of Business Development processes and systems, helping the team scale efficiently and maintain high productivity.

Key Qualifications

• 3+ years of analytics or related experience in renewable energy, project finance, industrial or energy sectors.
• Experience running energy project finance models from energy bill level data inputs

Additional Qualifications Desired

• Fluency in Spanish, ideally with working familiarity of technical energy language
• Familiarity with renewable energy markets, industrial decarbonization, or thermal applications.
• Experience with CRM software and project management tools.
• Exposure to energy projects specifically in biofuels, food, chemicals, or other thermally intensive industries.

Work Location: Hybrid or Onsite - San Jose, CA

Salary Range: $140,000 USD - $190,000 USD

Salary Basis: Annual

The actual salary offered will be within the posted range and determined based on several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experiences, credentials and expertise, as they pertain to the position's requirements.
