Job summary

Nord Anglia Education, a leading premium international schools group, seeks a Payroll Specialist to manage accurate bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls across multiple U.S. locations.

The role partners with HR and Finance to ensure compliant, timely processing and to standardize payroll practices regionally. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in payroll processing, strong Excel and HRIS skills (UKG, Kronos, SuccessFactors), and experience with multi-state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/HR or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of payroll processing experience in a multicultural or multi-state environment is preferred.
• Experience with HRIS/Payroll systems (UKG, Kronos, SuccessFactors) is essential.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and tax withholding is required.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and v-lookup are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for multiple states ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including data imports and adjustments.
• Audit payroll data and provide reports to schools for review and analysis.
• Support payroll compliance, registrations, garnishments, and unemployment claims.
• Collaborate with Benefits Manager on deductions and benefits integration.
• Prepare payroll data for audits and internal reporting, ensuring confidentiality.
