Job summary

Voith US Inc. in Appleton, WI, is seeking a Global Manufacturing Training and Development Manager to design, implement, and drive learning initiatives across manufacturing sites.

You will partner with Global, Regional and Local teams to support DRIVE FRS Learning and related programs, and collaborate with education partners to build apprenticeships. Hybrid role with travel up to 30% to support sites in multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with focus on continuous improvement and training.
• Knowledge of learning management systems preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to design and deliver training programs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Experience in education fields with emphasis on skilled trades and or technical colleges including securing grants.
• English proficiency; bilingual/multilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy for manufacturing employees that support global organizational goals.
• Collaborate with operations sites and subject matter experts to identify training needs and objectives to build out and implement training.
• Audit and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through assessments, feedback, and KPIs.
• Implement and maintain learning management system to track progress and training records.
• Maintain document control records with supporting documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and Voith Group LMS.
• Provide coaching and consulting support to business leaders to identify and resolve gaps.
• Identify industry trends and best practices through researching best in class practices.
• Engage with educational institutions to establish apprenticeships.
