Job summary

Voith US Inc. in Appleton, WI, seeks a Sr. Manager of Production to lead multiple production areas, drive safety, quality, delivery, cost and continuous improvement.

You will partner with Operations, Design, Quality, Sales, and Commercial leaders to align manufacturing with business strategy and growth objectives. This role provides direct leadership to Area Managers and Supervisors. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 7+ years in manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads production areas to achieve site objectives for safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and output.
• Aligns Area Managers, Production Supervisors, and employees around business priorities and accountability.
• Provides leadership to ensure consistent execution of production plans, standard work, and priorities.
• Monitors performance, identifies gaps, and drives corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manages production schedule, staffing, capacity constraints, and workflow in a multi-step operation.
• Communicates with plant employees and leadership regarding performance, priorities, and changes.
