Job summary

Green Key Resources is recruiting for a role within a top-tier hedge fund’s Management Company Accounting team. The position offers two levels: Associate (2–4 years) and Senior Associate (5–8 years), with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office and 2 remote.

The role involves running monthly/quarterly closes, preparing financial reporting for leadership, and supporting regulatory reporting. Senior Associate adds leadership of change initiatives and technical accounting expertise.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Big 4 audit experience in asset management, alternatives or financial services preferred; Big 4-to-industry backgrounds considered.
• Strong command of the close and reporting cycle with sharp attention to detail.
• Interest in using AI tools to improve how work gets done.

Responsibilities

• Run monthly and quarterly close: journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Prepare financial reporting for the team and senior leadership.
• Support regulatory and compliance reporting.
• Partner with fund accounting, tax, legal/compliance and technology teams.
• Help bring generative AI and automation into close, reporting and controls.
• Senior Associate: lead change initiatives from start to finish and review the team's deliverables as the accounting/controls expert.
