Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a senior program lead to bridge evidence-based decision support with colleagues across functions. You will manage high-complexity projects, allocate resources, and shape strategic directions within the Global Business Unit.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with at least 6 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 5 years of experience or PhD/JD with at least 1 year of experience or MD/DVM with any years of experience.
• Demonstrated relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or Regulatory Agency.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and develop partnerships across functions.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and data standards.
• Strong communication, decision-making, influencing, negotiation, and project management skills.
• Technical proficiency in using relational databases and data visualization tools.
• Strong people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Set and manage objectives for high-complexity projects within the Global Business Unit.
• Lead and allocate resources including those outside direct authority.
• Share knowledge across functions and contribute to knowledge management processes.
• Champion and develop resources for innovation and take appropriate risks.
• Develop solutions for highly complex problems within the Global Business Unit.
• Interpret the Division's strategy to establish and prioritize goals.
• Assess talent needs and identify potential talent.
• Hold managers accountable for management skills and diverse talent development.
• Lead teams to implement strategic directions and influence senior management decisions.
• Partner with GBU leadership to achieve objectives and oversee operational activities.
