Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Development Head to oversee vaccine clinical research and development programs, leading global programs and registration activities across multiple projects to meet company objectives.

The role provides expert guidance to trial leaders and clinical staff, reviews compounds for licensing opportunities, and may design development strategies for worldwide approval; the position is hybrid with on-site work required several days per week within commuting distance.

Qualifications

• Requires medical degree and 10+ years in pharma clinical research programs.
• End-to-end vaccine clinical development experience required.
• Ability to evaluate scientific/medical information and propose new concepts in drug development.
• Ability to guide global trial leaders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level oversight of global clinical programs and Clinical Development Plans.
• Lead Clinical Project Teams and resolve program issues with clinical teams.
• Ensure quality of trials during execution and publication for regulatory submission.
• Mentor clinician medical monitors and clinical scientists to optimize performance.
• Collaborate on regulatory strategy and publications; support safety review processes.
