Job summary

Lam Research’s Global Products Group is seeking an experienced engineering leader to direct hardware, software, and systems design activities for semiconductor equipment. You will oversee cross‑functional teams across the US and India, driving engineering standards and continuous improvement.

The role requires extensive product development experience and a track record of leading large, technically diverse groups.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 8+ years with a master’s; or 5+ years with a PhD.
• Experience with engineering product development processes/best practices.
• Design engineering experience, preferably in semiconductor equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to the global team and develop skills, capabilities, and ownership to meet objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement across engineering development and release processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate requirements into actionable solutions with stakeholders.
• Manage complex cross-functional teams (CFTs) across US and India.
• Lead prioritization and coordination of engineering operations with a global workforce.
• Represent GPE operational interests in corporate CFTs.
• Create, revise, and communicate engineering standards and best-known methods.
• Publish institutional knowledge to improve cross-team consistency.
• Organize engineering information for fast discovery using SharePoint, Teams, or similar tools.
• Develop, evaluate, and champion tools to improve quality and efficiency of engineering work.
