Job summary
Woodward is seeking a Compensation Manager to lead market-based compensation programs across a global enterprise. You will partner with HR, Finance, Legal and business leadership to design, deliver, and continuously improve compensation structures and governance.
This senior role requires 7+ years of compensation experience, a global perspective, and proficiency in Workday and Excel. The position offers a robust total rewards package with eligibility for an annual bonus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR or business field preferred.
- 7+ years in compensation design and admin across base pay & incentives.
- Experience leading compensation support with executives and HR partners.
- Global experience across multiple countries/regions.
- HRIS (Workday) proficiency and advanced Excel.
Responsibilities
- Lead compensation support for a business segment as principal consultant.
- Provide strategic consultation using data analysis and market practices.
- Design and administer incentive compensation programs and bonus payments.
- Support annual salary planning: configuration, training, audits, reporting.
- Monitor market benchmarks to maintain competitive salary structures.
- Govern enterprise Career Framework and job architecture alignment.
- Ensure compliance with laws, governance, and pay equity.
- Collaborate across HR, Finance, Legal, and IT to deliver solutions.
