Job summary

Woodward is seeking a Compensation Manager to lead market-based pay programs for a global business segment. You will provide expert consultation to HR and leadership, design incentive plans, and ensure governance and equity across pay structures.

Reporting to the Director of Compensation, you will manage salary planning, benchmarking, and career framework initiatives, partnering with Finance, Legal, and HR Technology to deliver competitive total rewards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years in compensation design and administration.
• Experience advising executives and HR stakeholders on complex compensation matters.
• Experience in global organizations with multi-country needs.
• Proficiency with HRIS (Workday) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong project management and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead compensation support for a business segment as principal consultant.
• Provide strategic consultation using data and market practices.
• Design and administer incentive compensation programs and bonuses.
• Support annual salary planning through system config, audits and reporting.
• Monitor market benchmarks to maintain competitive pricing data.
• Govern enterprise career framework governance and job architecture.
• Ensure compliance with laws, governance and pay equity.
• Drive continuous improvement of compensation systems and processes.
