Job summary

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) seeks a General Ledger Fiscal Data Specialist to compile, review, and analyze high‑complexity fiscal activities and ensure data integrity within FI$Cal.

Reporting to the Accounting Administrator II, this permanent full‑time role focuses on MEC and Year End tasks, providing guidance to accounting staff and supporting month‑end close processes from a central State Government framework.

Qualifications

• Compile, review, and analyze large volume of fiscal activities of high complexity to maintain the integrity of fiscal data.
• Provide technical support and guidance to accounting staff in Month-End Close (MEC) and Year End tasks in FI$Cal.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze complex FI$Cal reports and queries.
• Work under the general direction of the Accounting Administrator II (Supervisor).
