Job summary

Dominion Energy in Richmond, Virginia, seeks an Accountant or Senior Accountant to support the Contracted Energy segment. The role covers accrual accounting, reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and preparing financial reports, with a focus on strong GAAP application and control effectiveness.

You will interact with internal customers, perform ad hoc analyses, and contribute to month-end close. A Bachelor’s degree is required; CPA is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of US GAAP and accounting procedures.
• Strong Excel skills, including large spreadsheets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Sharp analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to multi-task and stay organized.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• CPA preferred but not required.
