Everett Community Growers, Inc. is seeking a qualified freelance Development Coordinator to build ECG's fundraising infrastructure, manage seasonal campaigns, and support grant development lifecycle. The hybrid role based in Everett, MA offers autonomy over scheduling and methods.

You will develop a holistic fundraising plan, research and configure donor data systems, and lead grant tracking and submissions with a focus on raising at least $50,000 in new dollars.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and writing skills to prepare donor outreach, grant materials, and internal updates.
• Customer service skills to build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and community members.
• Project management abilities to organize development activities, meet deadlines, and coordinate events or campaigns.
• Fundraising experience including donor stewardship, grant support, or campaign coordination.

Responsabilités

• Develop a holistic fundraising strategy with staff and Board of Directors, including donor and foundation engagement strategies.
• Research, select, and configure a donor data management system; consolidate lists; set up donation-acknowledgment workflows.
• Create a centralized grant tracking calendar; establish grant review, proofing, and submission protocols; conduct prospect research.
• Develop pitches and boilerplate language for ECG’s core work; aim to raise at least $50,000 in new dollars.
