Job summary

LHH is assisting in finding a Fund Accounting and Reporting Analyst for a client’s investment accounting team in Austin. The role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office collaboration and remote-friendly options, supporting diverse asset classes and complex reporting needs.

You will own the month-end close, support valuation and pricing, and prepare comprehensive investor and management reports, while ensuring accuracy and compliance across portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting or financial services accounting.
• Solid grasp of team workflows and the tools that support them.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset with curiosity, sound judgment and integrity.
• Comfort with standard office software and Power BI or similar.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workpapers and reports for internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Own the monthly accounting close process from start to finish.
• Support valuation and pricing for alternative investment holdings.
• Monitor and track investment activity, including contributions and withdrawals, across the portfolio.
• Contribute to consolidated reporting efforts.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual investment reports.
• Perform bank and external manager reconciliations.
• Prepare documentation and workpapers to support audits.
• Assist with financial statement preparation.
• Calculate and process management fees.
