Addison Group is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant in Austin to support fund accounting, financial reporting, and investment accounting within a growing finance team. The role partners with stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry.
• CPA required.
• MBA preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• High emotional intelligence and a strong cultural fit.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fund accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances.
• Partner with internal teams to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies and reporting requirements.
• Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives.
