Financeroles in Livingston, NJ, is seeking a Manager-Fund Accounting (Client Services) to lead client relationships for private equity fund administration. You will review GAAP/OCBOA statements, SBA reporting, capital activity, waterfalls, and partner accounts, while coaching associates and coordinating with internal teams.

The role emphasizes client service leadership, process improvements, and collaboration with auditors. Hybrid work with on-site presence three days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• Leadership experience in private equity, venture capital, private credit, or fund administration.
• Strong understanding of partnership accounting, capital activity, waterfalls, allocations, and carried interest.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple client relationships with the client service team and ensure superior service.
• Review fund financial statements under US GAAP and SBA reporting; prepare SBA Form 468.
• Review capital calls & distributions, waterfalls, and partner capital accounts.
• Coordinate with internal teams on deliverables; mentor Senior Associates & Associates.
• Lead client discussions, provide guidance, and identify improvements in service delivery.
• Support year-end audits with clients and auditors; act as trusted advisor.
• Manage time tracking, document management, and process efficiency improvements.
