Ford Motor Company is seeking a Manufacturing IT Software Engineer to design, build, and support full-stack applications for the Manufacturing Digital Engineering (MDE) team. You will contribute to APIs, microservices, and Angular frontends on Google Cloud, collaborating with manufacturing and IT teams to deliver reliable software.

The role emphasizes TDD, CI/CD, and clean-code practices, with a hybrid onsite requirement in Dearborn four+ days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of frontend development experience with Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• 2+ years of backend REST API development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, source control, and unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support APIs, platforms, and services as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable technology solutions.
• Build and maintain Spring Boot/Java APIs and microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop and maintain Angular web applications on GCP and ensure performance.
