Peregrine Advisors, an AI and data partner for government, is hiring a full‑stack software engineer. You will develop cloud‑native Python services on AWS and build React.js screens, turning user stories into production features and integrating internal systems via APIs.

This is a hybrid role in the Washington, DC metro area. You will work on the first project across development, automated testing, CI/CD, and AI-assisted tooling, delivering tested code and reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development with Python backend and React frontend.

Responsibilities

• Turn user stories into back-end features in Python on a cloud-native AWS stack.
• Create the React.js screens and components for those features.
• Connect internal systems to APIs between products.
• Rely on S3, Lambda, and related AWS services to automate workflows.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, write secure, tested code, and provide production support.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Support secure development practices and automated testing.
• Review AI-assisted development tool outputs.
