Job summary

Simeio is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer focused on AI & security in Jersey City. The role combines frontend interfaces with robust backend services, APIs and data integrations.

You’ll work with Security Operations, IAM, PAM, cloud security and data protection, shaping practical software for production use. The position emphasizes secure development, MCP integrations and AI agent workflows, with hands-on experience in Docker and Kubernetes, and collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience including front-end and back-end.
• Experience with React or equivalent modern front-end framework.
• Strong back-end skills in Java, Python, C# or Node.js.
• Experience designing REST APIs and working with databases.
• Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments.
• Hands-on with CI/CD and production-grade software practices.
• Secure development practices: input validation, access control and auditing.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs and tool calling in application code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain full‑stack applications, REST APIs and data integrations for security operations.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers to translate requirements into practical software.
• Write maintainable code, perform reviews, and contribute to automated testing and documentation.
• Create CI/CD pipelines and containerize services with Docker; deploy on Kubernetes-based environments.
• Operate services on major cloud platforms with managed compute, storage and identity services.
• Support production systems with monitoring, incident response and reliability improvements.
• Apply secure development practices and maintain auditability across codebases.
• Develop MCP servers and AI agent workflows with structured outputs and robust error handling.
• Integrate LLM APIs for alert enrichment, evidence gathering and triage; manage tool calls and retrieval.
