Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Programming experience with Python, Java, or Golang.
• Experience with client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks (React and/or BackboneJS).
• Experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and/ or Responsive Design.
• Experience implementing data structures, algorithms, and RESTful APIs with secure design features.
• Experience developing scalable distributed web applications using open-source or proprietary technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD and security gates such as SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning.

Responsibilities

• Build a global-scale security platform, optimizing for performance, reliability and quality using Splunk platform innovations, open-source, and AI Agentic and cloud tools and technologies.
• Own and be accountable for delivery of multiple features to solve security challenges.
• Develop deep knowledge of product architecture, usage patterns, and deployment scenarios to deliver value.
• Partner with architecture, engineering management, and product management on requirements, designs, and plans.
• Identify ways to improve team productivity by expanding tools and processes.
• Collaborate with teammates on design and implementation of frameworks and backend components and mentor junior engineers.
