Job summary

BNY is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to support cyber data applications focused on IAM, cyber risk, and continuous control monitoring. This role is based in Jersey City, NJ with a hybrid schedule—4 days onsite per week.

You will design, build, and maintain modern applications across front-end and back-end stacks, balancing 50/50 development focus. Expect to leverage AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Codex) to accelerate delivery, review AI outputs, and ensure secure,

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of full stack development experience.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Angular.
• Strong back-end with Java 18+, Python, and Node.js.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
• Experience with SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL; API development (REST/GraphQL).
• Familiar with DevOps: Git, CI/CD, Docker.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Full stack design, build, maintain applications with balanced front/back end.
• Develop responsive front-end with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular.
• Back-end using Java 18+, Python, Node.js.
• AI-assisted development with Copilot/ChatGPT/Codex to accelerate coding and test.
• Support cyber data applications used daily by internal users.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, GraphQL, auth workflows.
• Database management with SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
• DevOps & collaboration using Git, CI/CD, Docker.
• Troubleshoot and debug across stack.
• AI enablement: connect apps to AI agents.
