Job summary

Liberty Mutual is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer in a hybrid setting with 2 onsite days. You will design, build, and deliver back-end and full-stack solutions across multiple GFT products, collaborating with product owners and engineers to ensure secure, scalable software.

You will contribute to AI-powered features, participate in reviews, and help maintain CI/CD, testing, and production support. Strong communication and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline.
• 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
• Experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, AWS Lambda, and SQL.
• Familiar with CI/CD, testing, and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with product, business, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop application features and components.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to apply shared patterns and components.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Apply engineering guidelines and suggest improvements.
• Build and maintain automated testing, CI/CD, and observability.
• Provide production support including incident triage and root-cause analysis.
• Create and maintain technical specifications and design docs.
• Contribute to AI-powered features across product lines.
• Translate business needs into well-scoped technical work and estimates.
