University of Michigan's MICOM team is seeking a resourceful Full-Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure data systems and analytics platforms for public health priorities. You will work with MDHHS and DTMB, translating regulatory guidelines into practical software.

The role covers full development lifecycle, from backend real-time processing to frontend data visualization. This is a two-year term-limited position with hybrid work and potential travel, located in Ann Arbor.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/IT or related field.
• Knowledge of security best practices and data privacy standards (HIPAA or similar).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and deploying apps in cloud environments (e.g., AWS).

• Develop scalable front-end and back-end components for MICOM systems.
• Create responsive data visualization tools and user interfaces for public health professionals.
• Create and deploy backend services, including data APIs and auth services.
• Develop features that enforce data privacy and security following federal and state policies (HIPAA).
• Engage with public health experts, technical staff, and agency partners to gather requirements and feedback.
