Job summary

Horizon Farm Credit is seeking a Full Stack Analytics Developer (BI Analyst) to blend application dev, BI, and UX to deliver data-driven solutions. You’ll work with stakeholders, data professionals, and tech teams to build scalable apps, data models, and reporting, while enabling a strong analytics culture.

The role supports hybrid work and requires SQL, Power BI, Python, and UX design skills. You’ll contribute across development lifecycle and performance improvements to drive business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IS/Software Engineering/Data Analytics or related field.
• 0–5 years of software development, analytics, BI, or related roles.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Experience with Python development and scripting.
• Understanding of web application development concepts and modern frameworks.
• Knowledge of UX design principles and user-centered design.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based business applications.
• Create front-end interfaces using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Develop back-end services, APIs, and integrations.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle from requirements to support.
• Troubleshoot issues and continuously improve performance and usability.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models for reporting.
• Design and support data models enabling reporting and analytics.
• Create Power BI reports, dashboards, and visual analytics solutions.
• Translate business requirements into actionable metrics and KPIs.
• Support users with report enhancements and analytics needs.
• Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Conduct user research and gather feedback to improve usability.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and workflows; apply UX accessibility.
• Document solutions, processes, and development standards.
• Participate in code reviews and best practices.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and analytics capabilities.
