Job summary

Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health is seeking a dedicated psychiatrist to join our inpatient team in Georgia. The role involves comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, in collaboration with psychologists, social workers, and other professionals.

Ideal candidates hold an MD or DO, a valid Georgia license and a Georgia DEA license. On-site work is required three days per week, with willingness to commute to Statesboro, GA.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completed residency in Psychiatry.
• Valid Georgia medical license.
• Valid Georgia DEA license.
• Experience with child/adolescent psychiatry preferred.
• On-site presence required three times per week.
• Willing to commute to Statesboro, GA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for clients in an inpatient setting.
• Provide support for outpatient services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage medications as necessary.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling as part of treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced psychiatrist to join our dynamic team in an in-patient setting. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, to clients with a wide range of mental health disorders. The psychiatrist will work collaboratively with our team of psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of child and adolescent mental health disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
• Must be on site THREE times per week.
• Must be willing to commute to Statesboro, GA.
