Job summary

Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health in Texas is seeking a Board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team.

You will evaluate children and teens, create treatment plans, manage medications, provide psychotherapy, and collaborate with psychologists and social workers. The position reports five days per week and is not remote.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completed residency in Psychiatry and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Board certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Valid Texas medical license to practice medicine.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage medication as necessary.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling as part of treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings.
• Stay current with developments in child and adolescent psychiatry and engage in continuing education.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, to children and adolescents with a wide range of mental health disorders. The psychiatrist will work collaboratively with our team of psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
