Job summary

Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health is seeking a dedicated psychiatrist to join our inpatient team. You will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, and work collaboratively with psychologists, social workers, and other professionals to develop individualized plans.

The role involves conducting evaluations, prescribing medications, delivering psychotherapy, and participating in treatment planning, with a focus on multidisciplinary collaboration

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Completed residency in Psychiatry.
• Valid medical license to practice in Florida.
• Valid DEA license in Florida.
• Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of child and adolescent mental health disorders is desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for clients in an in-patient setting.
• Provide support for outpatient services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage medication as necessary.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling as part of treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and other collaborative efforts.
• Stay current with developments in child and adolescent psychiatry and participate in continuing education activities.
