Anchour Creative, LLC, a Maine-based creative agency, seeks a Front-End Developer to turn designs into fast, accessible websites. You’ll work on WordPress themes, Shopify storefronts, and data integrations across multi-brand sites, collaborating closely with designers and strategists.

The role is hybrid from our Maine headquarters with remote flexibility and regular in-person sessions in New England.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production websites with strong front-end skills.
• Fluent in semantic HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
• Deep WordPress and Shopify experience (Gutenberg, ACF, Liquid).
• Experience with Git, CLI, and modern workflows (Tailwind, React).
• Comfort with integrations, data architecture, and accessibility.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid Maine-based role.

Responsibilities

• Turn designs into fast, accessible, mobile-first websites.
• Develop custom WordPress themes using ACF and Gutenberg.
• Build Shopify storefronts and headless integrations.
• Architect data layers, CPTs, and metafields for multi-brand sites.
• Ensure Core Web Vitals, WCAG 2.2 AA compliance, and security.
• Collaborate with designers, strategists, and other developers.
• Provide training and documentation for clients.
