Anchour, a Maine-based creative agency, is seeking a Front-End Developer to translate Figma designs into fast, accessible, mobile-first websites. You’ll work on WordPress themes and Shopify storefronts, build centralized data layers, and ensure performance, accessibility, and security across brands.

Collaborate with designers and strategists, own QA, staging, and launch, and help teams leverage AI tools to move faster.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production websites in a professional setting.
• Fluent in semantic and accessible HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Deep WordPress and Shopify experience, including custom themes and stores.

Responsibilities

• Turn Figma designs into fast, accessible, mobile-first websites.
• Develop custom WordPress themes and Shopify storefronts (Liquid, Gutenberg, ACF).
• Architect behind-the-pages data layers, integrations, and APIs.
• Build once, deploy across multiple brands and sites; maintain performance.
• Own QA, staging, and launch, with cross-browser QA and accessibility checks.
• Document and train clients on CMS usage; explore AI-assisted improvements.
