Job summary

First Station Media is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Web Developer to lead projects from concept to launch. You will own the full development lifecycle, architect solutions, and build scalable, performant client websites and e-commerce platforms.

You will collaborate with designers, marketers, and leadership to deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions, with a remote-friendly setup and compensation based on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship not provided
• 3–5 years of full-stack development or equivalent
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks
• Backend development experience with PHP or similar server-side languages
• Experience with CMS and e-commerce platforms
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, deployment workflows, and DevOps practices
• Solid understanding of API architecture and integrations
• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications and client-facing websites
• Build responsive frontends using React, Vue, Solid.js, or similar
• Develop backend systems with PHP, Node.js, Go, or similar
• Architect and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Integrate APIs and third-party services
• Customize CMS and e-commerce platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Magento)
• Optimize for performance, SEO, accessibility, and scalability
• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP)
• Collaborate with marketing for analytics and tracking
• Troubleshoot issues and improve client platforms
