Job summary

Anchour is seeking a Front-End Developer to turn designs into fast, accessible, mobile-first websites using WordPress and Shopify storefronts. You’ll own pieces of builds from kickoff through QA, launch, and training, collaborating with designers, strategists, and other developers.

A hybrid role based out of our Maine headquarters with remote flexibility. We value a Northeast base and real ownership over the work.

Qualifications

• Strong front-end chops with 3+ years building production websites.
• WordPress and Shopify depth with Gutenberg and ACF.
• Experience with integrations, data architecture, and WCAG 2.2 AA compliance.
• Modern workflow: Git, CLI, component-based development, Tailwind and React; interest in AI.

Responsibilities

• Build sites from Figma designs using custom WordPress themes and Shopify storefronts.
• Architect behind-the-pages data layers, CPTs, metafields for multi-brand deployment.
• Wire up integrations: APIs, CRM, marketing automation, Storefront API, analytics.
