SugarAI in Denver is seeking a senior FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and decision support across the organization. You will translate operating plans into financial outcomes and partner with business leaders to drive growth.

This role requires independence, analytical rigor, and the ability to influence at multiple levels in a fast-paced, private equity-backed SaaS environment. Hybrid work with in-office 3 days/week in Denver.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in FP&A, Investment Banking, Strategic Finance, or Accounting; SaaS is a plus.
• Strong modeling skills and experience with FP&A platforms and ERP systems.
• Builder mindset; able to turn messy data into clean models.
• Interest in AI tools to automate workflows and accelerate analysis.
• Excellent communication; explain budget variances and implications.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA/CPA/MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain driver-based financial models linking assumptions to income statement and cash flow.
• Develop scenario analyses to evaluate investments and operating changes.
• Partner with business leaders on forecasting, headcount planning, and expense management.
• Translate financial results into actionable insights for executives.
• Monitor SaaS and financial KPIs and report to leadership.
