Where You Fit In

The FP&A Manager will be a senior contributor responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and decision support across the organization. Reporting to the VP of FP&A, you will take ownership of core FP&A processes and partner directly with business leaders to translate operating plans into financial outcomes.

You will serve as a trusted finance partner to budget owners, helping them develop forecasts, evaluate investments, understand performance drivers, and identify risks and opportunities. This role requires someone who can work independently, navigate ambiguity, establish the right analytical approach, and drive work from initial question through recommendation and follow-through. Success will come through strong financial ownership, sound judgment, effective cross-functional partnership, and the ability to influence decisions at multiple levels of the organization.

This is a highly analytical and visible position within a fast-paced, private equity-backed SaaS environment.

**This role operates on a hybrid model, with a mix of remote work and in-office collaboration at our Denver, CO location, specifically, working in-office a minimum of 3 days per week**

Impact You Will Make:

Financial Planning and Forecasting

• Maintain driver-based financial models that connect business assumptions to the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow forecast.
• Consolidate departmental inputs into a cohesive company outlook and assess the reasonableness and consistency of underlying assumptions.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate business decisions, investment alternatives, and changes in operating assumptions.
• Maintain a clear understanding of the company's financial outlook, including revenue, profitability, cash flow, working capital, and key business drivers.
• Identify forecast risks and opportunities proactively, quantify their potential impact, and recommend appropriate actions.

Business Partnership

• Guide business leaders through forecasting, headcount planning, expense management, and investment modeling.
• Challenge assumptions constructively and help budget owners develop financially sound and operationally realistic plans.
• Translate financial results into practical insights and recommendations that business partners can act upon.
• Build effective working relationships across the organization while holding partners accountable for financial commitments and agreed actions.
• Support leaders in evaluating tradeoffs, prioritizing resources, and measuring returns on investment.

Performance Analysis and Reporting

• Analyze monthly and quarterly results against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Explain key business and financial performance drivers rather than simply reporting variances.
• Develop concise reporting and executive-level presentations that highlight performance, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Partner with Accounting during the monthly close process to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment between actual results and forecast assumptions.
• Monitor relevant SaaS, operational, and financial KPIs and connect changes in those metrics to the company's financial outlook.

Financial Modeling and Decision Support

• Build fit-for-purpose financial models for strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, headcount investments, business cases, and other company priorities.
• Convert complex or ambiguous business questions into structured analysis without requiring a predefined approach.
• Provide clear, independent recommendations supported by financial and operational data.
• Ensure models and analyses are accurate, scalable, clearly documented, and understandable to other stakeholders.

What You Will Bring:

• 6+years of experience in FP&A, Investment Banking, Strategic Finance, or Accounting. Experience in SaaS is a significant plus.
• Technical Prowess: You have strong modeling skillsand haveexperience with FP&A platforms (Adaptive,Datarails, etc)and ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks).
• Builder Mindset: You enjoy building models from scratch and refining messy data into clean structures. We move fast and iterate to progressively improve over time.
• AICuriosity:You'reeager to explore howAI toolscanautomate manual workflows, accelerate analysis, and stress-test models—treating emerging technology as a force multiplier.
• Communication Skills: You can explain the "why" behinda budgetvariance as well as the implications to our financial outlook.
• High Velocity: You thrive in a fast-paced environmentwhere priorities can shift, and you have the discipline to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. CFA, CPA, MBA is a plus.
