Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Financial Analyst Specialist to join our FP&A team. You will own forecasting, analysis, and business partnering across the organization, with a focus on financial planning and control.

This hybrid role requires 7+ years in financial analysis in the payments industry, strong Excel skills, GAAP knowledge, and excellent communication. The position is based in Cincinnati, OH or Denver, CO with 3 days in office.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and data management within the payments industry.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Admin, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement forecasting models to predict financial performance.
• Own forecasting process from end-to-end.
• Establish processes and governance structures.
• Forecast and prepare annual and monthly budgets for divisions.
• Track revenue and expenses monthly and compare to forecasts.
• Prepare regular financial reports for leadership.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support KPIs & OKRs with insights.
• Leverage analytics to enhance performance reporting.
• Identify tools to streamline processes and improve productivity.
