Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst Specialist to join our FP&A team. The role is hybrid, working 3 days per week in our Cincinnati, OH or Denver, CO location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and data management within the payments industry.
• Revenue accounting experience.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting.

Responsibilities

• Develop forecasting models and own forecasting process end-to-end.
• Research and compile data to forecast and prepare budget projections.
• Track revenue and expenses monthly; compare actuals to forecast and adjust as needed.
• Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare regular financial reports for leadership; support KPIs & OKRs.
• Leverage advanced analytics to enhance performance reporting and data-driven decisions.
• Assess tools and streamline processes; ensure seamless integration with workflows.
• Coordinate with LRPs and annual planning cycles to align with objectives.

We’re looking for a Financial Analyst Specialist to join our FP&A team and help us unleash the potential of every business. This role will by hybrid (working 3 days per week in office at our Cincinnati, OH OR Denver, CO location). What you’ll own: As a Financial Analyst Specialist, you’ll have your finger on the financial pulse of the entire organization and lead financial analysis, forecasting, and business partnering with Global Payments for Platforms Working with a diverse team, you’ll be responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control.

Day-to-Day Operations:

• Develop and implement forecasting models to predict financial performance.
• Own forecasting process from end-to-end.
• Establish processes and governance structures.
• Research and compile data to forecast and prepare annual and monthly budget projections for a division or similar group of organizations.
• Track revenue and expenses monthly, comparing actual to forecasted figures, and making necessary adjustments
• Other related duties as needed

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare regular financial reports to keep leadership informed about key metrics and financial health.
• Analysis to support KPIs & OKRs for leadership.

Performance Reporting and Insights:

• Leverage advanced analytics to enhance performance reporting and support data-driven decision-making.
• Provide valuable insights into performance metrics, helping prioritize and track progress against overall targets.

Tooling and Process Efficiency:

• Assess existing tools and identify new ones to streamline processes, increase productivity, and reduce manual effort.
• Ensure tools integrate seamlessly into the overall process.

Planning Cycles:

• Coordinate efforts to align with long-range planning (LRP) and annual planning cycles.
• Ensure activities fit into the overall objectives of the organization.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and data management within the payments industry.
